DESCRIPTION

Mona made us discover this amazing Indian tandoori recipe and it became one of our favorites! One of our favorite recipes! Its our go to recipe when we have guests at home, easy, can be prepared in advance and oh so juicy! TO DIE FOR!!!

Ingredients

2 Marinades


MARINADE #1

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder (or mild chili powder)

  • 7-8 cloves garlic grated

  • 1cm fresh ginger grated

  • 1/2 lemon / lime juice (4tsp)

MARINADE #2

  • 200gr greek (or natural or coconut ) yogurt

  • 1 tbsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala

  • 1 tsp amchur (mango powder) if you cannot find it you can replace with lemon juice

  • 40gr chopped coriander leaves

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

  • Mix all the ingredients of marinade no 1 and spread the mixture on the chicken, massage it well, film it and put the chicken to rest in the fridge for 1 hour.

Step 2

  • Then, mix all  the ingredients of marinade no 2 and massage the mixture all over the chicken. if there is any excess marinade, stuff it inside the chicken, film it and place it in the fridge for at least one hour, best overnight.

Step 3

  • Once ready to cook, place the chicken in the oven at 180 degrees on fan mode for 1h15.

NOTES

For a lactose free version coconut yogurt works perfectly or any vegan yogurt .
