Avocado toast with spiced chickpeas is a super nourishing meal that makes an awesome breakfast or lunch !
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 small garlic clove
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
smashed avocado with some salt, pepper and lime juice
Bread of your choice
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chickpeas.
Then add the garlic, the spices, salt and pepper and cook until golden and crispy.
Then smash the avocado with a bit of lime, salt and pepper.
Top the bread with avocado, chickpeas, spring onions, parsley and chili flakes and enjoy !
The more you pat dry your chickpeas the crispier they will get.
