DESCRIPTION

Avocado toast with spiced chickpeas is a super nourishing meal that makes an awesome breakfast or lunch !

Ingredients


  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1 small garlic clove

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • smashed avocado with some salt, pepper and lime juice

  • Spring onion

  • Parsley

  • Chili flakes

  • Bread of your choice

Preparation

Step 1 

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chickpeas.

Step 2

  • Then add the garlic, the spices, salt and pepper and cook until golden and crispy.

Step 3

  • Then smash the avocado with a bit of lime, salt and pepper.

  • Top the bread with avocado, chickpeas, spring onions, parsley and chili flakes and enjoy !

NOTES

The more you pat dry your chickpeas the crispier they will get.
