These roasted sweet potatoes have a crispy caramelized exterior and a soft irresistible interior! Wanna impress your guests, go for this recipe!! The toppings we added to the dish makes it very fresh !


  • 400gr Sweet potatoes

  • Coconut Yogurt

  • Olive Oil

  • Garlic

  • Salt

  • Wild Girls zaatar

  • Pomegranate

  • Mint


Step 1

  • Peel and cut the sweet potatoes in chunky pieces.

Step 2

  • Boil the sweet potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes (the sweet potatoes should be half done).

  • Pour some olive oil onto a baking sheet.

  • Add the sweet potatoes and smash them using a glass and a piece of baking sheet.

  • Drizzle some more olive oil on top of the sweet potatoes and some flaky salt.

  • Bake the sweet potatoes in the oven until crispy on the bottom for 20-25 minutes, flip them and bake them for another 10 minutes until super crispy.

Step 3

  • In the meantime, prepare your sauce mixing the coconut yogurt with some olive oil, a crushed garlic clove and some salt.

Step 4

  • Top the sweet potatoes with the sauce, some Wild Girls zaatar, pomegranate and mint.
