This chili oil is a quick and easy recipe to prepare. It spices up any dishes such as veggies, rice, rice dumplings etc...
Keep it in the fridge up to 2-3 weeks ;)
10 gr sesame seeds
30 gr green onions
30 gr ginger
2 gr Chinese 5 spices
6 gr salt
5 gr Szechuan pepper
15 gr Gochugaru
250 ml neutral oil (here avocado oil)
Finely chop the green onions and grate the ginger.
Add all the spices, the green onions and the ginger in a heat resistant bowl.
Heat the oil (pro tip: you will know when your oil is ready when you put a wooden spatula and it bubbles around)
Once your oil is ready, pour it cautiously on the spices.
Let it cool and transfer to a glass jar. Place it in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
