Refreshing Horchata

This creamy Mexican drink is the perfect refreshing summer drink ! Craving a snack in the afternoon, the Wild Girls recommend it to push back your cravings.
It's made with raw soaked white rice, cinnamon and sweetened with dates instead of sugar!
It's delicious!


  • 150gr rice (raw) 

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 120gr cashew

  • 1,5 L water

  • 3 dates or more to your likinf

  • Cinnamon powder for topping


Step 1

  • Blend the rice and add the cinnamon sticks, the cashews and the hot water and let it soak 1-2 hours until water cools down. 

Step 2

  • Then add the medjool dates and mix everything 

Step 3

  • Drain in a milk bag or a kitchen towel.

Refrigerate and enjoy !! 


Keep it in the fridge for 4-5 days
