The Good Bun

Ingredients (6-8 buns):


  • 500 gr spelt flour

  • 15 gr baking powder

  • 300 gr coconut yogurt (or plain yogurt)

  • 100 gr plant based milk

  • 125ml olive oil

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 egg (to brush the buns)

  • Sesame seeds (to top the buns) 

Method : 

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees on fan mode. 

Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the wet ingredients and knead the dough either by hand or in a thermomix on "knead" mode for 6mins. 


Form the buns.


Whisk the egg in a bowl, brush the buns and sprinkle them with the sesame seeds. 

Bake them in the oven for 18-22mins.
